This challenge can be found here. Essentially it was to create something using only straight lines. Well, this proved to be harder than I thought it would be, but I came up with a few patterns that used only straight lines.

This entry speaks to me in a crazy way. I didn’t set out to make this look like an eye, but it does. There is so much beauty in the world around us and we fail to take it in. I love the way this turned out.

The inspiration behind this drawing was the zentangle knight star. It was just a beautifully twisted background for this all seeing eye.

I had so much fun with this challenge. I just knew that I needed to do mandalas as soon as she said circles. These mandalas were so much fun to create. I didn’t even know how many mandalas or how many layers each mandala had, I just went with my gut. This one took me 2 days to do, roughly 3 hours each day.
